The Fly Honeys 2023 Labor Day Weekend Lineup

The Fly Honeys are back and the bees are a-buzzing baby! If you have a pulse and live in Chicago, you should know who the Honeys are by now, but let me tell the new post-panorama generation what’s good. The Fly Honeys are a femme-led, party-starting, ass-shaking, glitter-bombing, sex-positive queer punk performance group born from a legendary annual event, The Fly Honey Show, founded in Chicago in 2010. They are best known for their saying “everybody, no matter what your body.” Having personally experienced the Hive as a dancer prior to the pandemic, they practice what they preach!

The Fly Honey Show was voted Chicago’s best dance production of 2022 for their pride month show at Thalia Hall. Now, the Fly Honeys return with an all-new four-night production over Labor Day weekend that marks the Chicago icon’s 13th season and most powerful show yet.

Cabaret, burlesque, camp, theater, variety, and nightlife performances converge on stage and off in a high-velocity spectacle that pulses with radical joy and self-love, leaving audiences and performers more empowered than they came.

Long time fans of the show will recognize audience favorites such as the spirited up and coming trans talent and scene stealer Angelica Grace. The graceful, gorgeous, and incredibly strong pole artist Dalton Rhodes, and the ass-shaking roof-raising Glittermoneyyy!!

Each night features a rotating cast of nationally lauded musicians, comedians, dancers, drag artists, DJs, and more, all backed by a nine-piece band and featuring original music by Chicago artists. This event is for ages 17+. Tickets start at $50 and can be purchased  at ThaliaHallChicago.com/Fly-Honeys.

It might seem pricey, but the night is really transformative, feminist, wild as hell fun. Get your tickets today. Full lineup posted below. See you on Opening Night, Honey!
